Castlevania Lord of Shadows Japanese Limited Edition

As mentioned previously, I had been wanting to get this game for some time. But I was kinda waiting for the Japanese version though since I felt that the game sounds cooler with Japanese. Sadly, the pricing is kinda steep.

By chance, I was browsing through Play-asia website and I saw this offer on the game. Moreover, it is the limited edition package with the same pricing as the normal one. Therefore, I felt that it is more worthwhile now to buy this game.

I placed the order with a fee for a tracking courier. The package arrived within 2 days, that is pretty fast! And I recommend adding small fee so that you can track the parcel to give you a peace of mind. Otherwise using the FOC shipping may take up to 2 weeks and there is a risk that the package might be lost. Finally, the Japanese version doesn't have English subs, only Japanese Subs. How i wish i could choose English or Japanese subs though.

Below is the unboxing video and some pics of the limited edition package.

Messenger bag for my DSLR

Have been pondering for quite a while on whether i should get a new bag for my E620 since the original free backpack seems to be bulky to carry out. As usual, started to research on some brands and models online, and finally came to conclusion.

And that is Lowepro Inverse100, it is actually a waist-porch but can carry a DSLR and some accessories. One day, i decide to head down to have a look at the item at a shop. But after trying it, it seems to be bulky and dull to me. Also, It is like a big protruding stomach to me. Having second thoughts, i look around and saw this pretty small and neat messenger bag by the same brand.

The model is call "exchange messenger". It is a messenger bag, has three colours to choose from and it is much cheaper than Inverse 100. After looking through the interior, it offers pretty good protection for the camera and not so dull compared to the other one. It can take a camera, 2 lens or 1 flash 1 lens, 3 pockets for putting miscellaneous stuff. So i make up my mind to get this instead. Below is some of the pics i took with E620.

Technology temptation again!

It has been more than 6 months since i brought my Lenovo Y460. Time files so do technology, with new models coming out every few months. And I had a evil thought of changing my laptop and my desktop. Y460 is good mid range laptop, but i am aiming for a gaming laptop (looking at Asus G53 etc) for the next upgrade if possible coz it is over 2k in SGD. Maybe i should sell my current Y460 first (any takers from Singapore?) lol.

As for desktop, the new Sandy bridge platform has just been released recently. My desktop has been with me for 2yrs and counting. It is still working fine though. Temptation sure needs lotsa money haha. But i am starting to like small packages things more now, so mATX is more suitable for me now.

Well, maybe i should know how to control my desire better otherwise will get nagging from my missus and burn a hole in my pocket haha. Most probably i had to choose one. For the price of a gaming laptop, i can get a pretty high spec gaming desktop. Or i get a gaming laptop and a mATX desktop with everything integrated haha.

But If i ever get a gaming laptop, it will double as my desktop too. Since i don't see a point of having both at the same time and burn a big hole in my pocket. Just my own thinking though.
